We are a 4-H club in Montgomery County Maryland for youth who have interests in 4-H and dogs. Our members learn leadership skills and learn about all aspects of dogs including the opportunity to train a dog, if interested. We are a busy club and we provide the youth with many venues to share their talents or grow in good character and leadership.

(Year Round) Each fall and spring, our club members participate in dog training sessions. We are privileged to have professional, volunteer adult dog trainers to teach dog training including obedience, agility, rally and fitting & showing training. This training culminates with our Dog Show Monday competitions as the annual Montgomery County Fair.
(Spring) The University of Maryland hosts Maryland Day annually. The event hosts tens of thousands of alums, community members and other visitors attending 400-plus exhibitions, activities and events. The Dog Club operates a display each year.
(November) Our club participates in Gaitherburg's Leashes ‘n’ Lights (also known as "Walk & Wag"). This event includes a 1-mile stroll or an invigorating 3-mile walk through more than 450 magical light displays.
Most of our meetings and training sessions are held at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds. Our meetings are hosted in the 4-H Building and our trainings are hosted in the Cattle Pavilion.
